TIM MEADOWS - 360,000 results
STEPHEN COLBERT - 2,270,000 results

Kary: Tim is enjoying a bit of a resurgence but Colbert has been on top for a while. Colbert.
Gabe: No love lost for Meadows, but Colbert may be the horse I ride all the way to my Number 1 spot.
James: Fun Fact: So far in this tournament, Tim Meadows is the only #8 seed to win a matchup, even though the #8 seeds were favored in the previous 2 rounds. This is thus the first time we've seen the #8 next to a name that has had it before. However, a single performance in Walk Hard, hilarious though it was, can't outweigh the Colbert Nation.

Kary: STEPHEN COLBERT
Gabe: STEPHEN COLBERT
James: STEPHEN COLBERT

WINNER: *STEPHEN COLBERT*

174. SIDEKICK SCRAMBLE
(#5) JOHN C. REILLY vs. (#4) RAINN WILSON

Google Fight:
JOHN C. REILLY - 922,000 results
RAINN WILSON - 484,000 results

Kary: I really enjoy Rainn on The Office but Reilly has been around a while and has a good bit of range. Plus he's on Tim ans Eric's Awesome Show (Great Job!). John.
Gabe: Tough. Call. Sir. They're both very funny, very specific, and I love that they've both come into their own after years of kickin' around in Paul Thomas Anderson flicks and bit parts in decent but non-blockbuster comedies (blink and you'll miss Rainn's 30-second role as an alien in Galaxy Quest). Both make me laugh, but Reilly's shown he has far more range, even within the comedy playing field. Reilly.
James: What I like pretty well from these guys: Reilly: Walk Hard, Talladega Nights... I bet Step Brothers is hilarious... Wilson: The Office, mainly. But Dwight Schrute is such a great character! Well... for body of work Reilly really should go on, and knowing that that will happen, I'll be a weasel and give recognition to Wilson for the greatness of Dwight Schrute. Ohhaunnghhaughnnnhaughnnn. Jim! I miss him so much! Aughnnhaughnn... FALSE. I do not miss Jim.

Kary: JOHN C. REILLY
Gabe: JOHN C. REILLY
James: RAINN WILSON

WINNER, AND NEW #4: *JOHN C. REILLY*

175. THE TALLEDEGA TANGO
(#6) GARY COLE vs. (#3) SACHA BARON COHEN

GARY COLE

Birthdate: September 20, 1956
Birthplace: Park Ridge, Illinois
Birth Name: Gary Michael Cole
Comedy Style: Movies
2000's Comedy Resumé: Talladega Nights (2006), Dodgeball (2004), Family Guy (2000-2005), Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law (2000-2007), Kim Possible (2002-2007).

SACHA BARON COHEN

Birthdate: October 13, 1971
Birthplace: London, England
Birth Name: Sacha Noam Baron Cohen
Comedy Style: TV, Movies
2000's Comedy Resumé: Borat (2006), Talladega Nights (2006), Sweeney Todd (2007), Bruno (2008), Da Ali G Show (2003-2004).

Google Fight:
GARY COLE - 640,000 results
SACHA BARON COHEN - 1,520,000 results

Kary: Gary does a lot with his bit parts and Sacha blew everyone away with Borat. I saw Borat twice and I loved him in Talladega Nights. Sacha.
Gabe: We all knew our man Gary Cole would be felled eventually. Glad it was to a conqueror as worthy as Cohen.
James: There's devotion to a character, which Gary Cole has. Then there's devotion to a character plus balls of steel, which Sacha Baron Cohen has. This man inexplicably could become so united with the Borat character (and all his characters, for that matter), that he was willing to do dozens and dozens of interviews in public and managed to never break character. A-freakin-mazing.

Kary: SACHA BARON COHEN
Gabe: SACHA BARON COHEN
James: SACHA BARON COHEN

WINNER: *SACHA BARON COHEN*

176. HIGH-BROW HUSTLE
(#7) RICKY GERVAIS vs. (#2) CHRISTOPHER GUEST

RICKY GERVAIS

Birthdate: June 25, 1961
Birthplace: Reading, Berkshire, England
Comedy Style: TV
2000's Comedy Resumé: The Office (original British) (2001-2003), Extras (2005-2007), For Your Consideration (2006), Stardust (2007), Night at the Museum (2006).

CHRISTOPHER GUEST

Birthdate: February 5, 1948
Birthplace: New York, New York
Birth Name: Christopher Haden-Guest
Comedy Style: Movies
2000's Comedy Resumé: A Mighty Wind (2003), Best in Show (2000), For Your Consideration (2006).

Google Fight:
RICKY GERVAIS - 1,510,000 results
CHRISTOPHER GUEST - 751,000 results

Kary: I looked to see when Best in Show came out to determine if I should use it for consideration in this match up. It came out in 2000 so I can indeed. I hear lots of good things about Ricky but I haven't had the opportunity to see very much yet, so I gotta give the nod to Guest.
Gabe: Interesting match-up. But, in my mind at least, the edge has to go to Guest, and this is coming from someone who likes but doesn't adore his mockumentaries. I just think he's a very funny guy.
James: Guest is hilarious, but his absolutely GREAT movies wouldn't be nearly as good if he were by himself or if he were headlining them. I've seen Gervais in a couple of starring roles, and he's hilarious. They're both comic geniuses, but this is performance! Come on! Gervais!

Kary: CHRISTOPHER GUEST
Gabe: CHRISTOPHER GUEST
James: RICKY GERVAIS

WINNER: *CHRISTOPHER GUEST*

I can't believe Ricky Gervais loses to Christopher Guest. Sure, Guest has done some okay movies in the past 8 years, but Gervais has not only redefined the modern sitcom, but he's managed to make the podcasting medium a respectable outlet for information and comedy. Not to mention he's the father of "The Office" and has managed to make one of the only cross-Atlantic hits in years ("Extras"). Anger!
